Classic British Cookery has a nostalgic feeling of old and new dishes which will enhance any table. Some dishes include Lancashire Hot Pot, Cock-a-Leekie Pie and Sticky Toffee Pudding.
Take a trip with Food from Around the World, each week we will cross continents to taste some exotic food and flavours.
Begin at the beginning for the Beginners or Basic Course. We will make dishes using pastry, white sauce also using methods such as bake blind, fold in, rub in and many more.
This is the first time we have run this course, as the Food from around the World course is so popular we thought that we would visit one country at a time and wanted to start with the French Country Cooking. Five weeks is not long enough however the course is full of beautiful dishes which are classic to the French.
Something sweet for all, Seasonal Sweets and Pudding Course. Each week we will make some sensational dishes using chocolate, meringue, pastry with many other ideas to choose from.
Our courses promote using only the freshest ingredients with seasonal ideas. These life enhancing courses provide you with new skills & techniques which will help you to be more proactive in the kitchen. The Cookery School will provide most condiments, wrappings, herbs & spices within the course fee free of charge.
